The laptop and PC company has just launched their new range of ultra-powerful gaming peripherals: the Nitro 5 gaming laptop and the Nitro QG241Y P monitor.

The Nitro 5 is powered by an AMD Ryzen™ 9 5900 HX mobile processor to deliver fast and efficient performance, while the Nitro QG241Y P monitor features rapid 165hz refresh rate with HDR10 support.

In layman's term, it means both products are crazy powerful, and you'll be able to show even the most demanding video game who's the boss (except of 'Kingdom Hearts'' Sephiroth, 'cos that b**ch is annoying!).

During the launch of the 'Zero To Nitro Campaign', Johnson Seet, Director of Consumer Business, Product and Marketing, Acer Malaysia, said that the new products will help you demolish video game bosses and daily tasks at hand.

Acer Nitro 5

Acer’s popular Nitro 5 gaming laptop gets a significant upgrade with an up to AMD Ryzen™ 9 5900 HX mobile processor and up to NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 3080, to give a powerful combination ideal for gaming enthusiasts.

Rounding out this powerful CPU/GPU combo are two slots for M.2 PCIe and two more for the 3200MHz DDR4 slots that allow gamers to improve RAM capacity up to 32GB.

As speed is most important for gamers, Acer Nitro 5 comes with Wi-Fi 6 and Killer Ethernet E2600 support.

With 80 per cent screen-to-body ratio and 7.02mm narrow bezels, the new Nitro 5 has a 15.6-inch display that supports up to 165Hz refresh rate on QHD resolution. For gamers who seek a higher refresh rate, it can support up to 360Hz refresh rate on FHD resolution. With a 3 ms response time, visuals are clean with minimal ghosting.

Acer Nitro 5 has a revamped thermal system with dual fans and four strategically placed exhaust vents to keep the Nitro 5 running cool. Acer CoolBoost™ and NitroSense allow gamers to monitor fan speed and increase it when necessary to optimise total performance.

Six variants of these Nitro 5 will arrive in Malaysia in 3 phases and pre-order is open accordingly in select Acer official online store.

There will be different pre-order promotions depending on the phase and these promotions include up to nearly RM1,000 worth of merchandise and additional RM100 off from Acer Official Store on Shopee.

At the same time, Acer also announced the Acer Nitro QG241Y P monitor equipped with 23.8-inch VA panel that supports up to 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms VRB response time for speedy frame rendering.

With AMD FreeSync Premium technology, Acer Nitro QG241Y P allows gamers to enjoy smooth and tear-free visual experience even with fast-moving objects racing across the screen.

Nitro QG241Y P supports HDR10 and black boost technology that enables greater immersion levels through realistic image recreation. It also comes with ComfyView™, BlueLightShield™ and Low Dimming™ technologies to help reduce eye strain caused by heavy use.
