As part of their 'Back To School' promotion, Apple is now offering a pair of free 2nd generation AirPods when they purchase eligible products using their Apple Malaysia website.From now till 7 March, college or university students in Malaysia who purchase an iMac, Mac mini, Mac Pro, MacBook Pro, or MacBook Air will be receiving the AirPods for no extra charge.
The same offer is extended to the iPad Air and the iPad Pro as well.
Of course, there are several terms and conditions you need to fulfill before you get your free Airpods.
Firstly (and probably the most important), you need to be an actual college or university student to qualify. Before you make your purchase, you would need to verify that you're indeed a university student via the UNiDAYS platform.
Secondly, this promo is only applicable when you purchase the products through the Apple Store for Education website.
To be honest, if you're a university student, the Apple Store for Education website is the place you should go to purchase all your Apple gadgets because you'll receive student-specific discounts.
Now, Apple's 'Back To School' promo isn't anything new, as selected markets around the world have been offering free products to college students for quite some time now.
But it is cool to see that Apple has finally extended this to the Malaysian market.
