Astro’s One Cent Thief Partners With Gong Cha To Offer You Drinks at a Steal

One Cent Thief is the latest Astro Originals series that will launch on October 8 based on the true story of Aman Shah a banker who stole one cent from the patrons of Hock Hua Bank.

In conjuction with the release, Gong Cha has partnered with Astro to give customers a free* Gong Cha drink with purchase of one drink. Technically it costs one sen. Don't worry, if Gong Cha doesn't have change for your 1 sen, they won't take your money ok?

We spoke to Billy Koh the CEO of Gong Cha who mentioned he was excited by the collaboration and it was a first collaboration of its kind with a local TV series.

The tea company has been actiive in the local community with many interesting collaborations including a collaboration with celebrity chef James Wan's Shin'labo and the Gong Cha x Maggi Pearl-das combo which we also tried previously.
