Avocado Art Might Just Be The Next Big Thing

If there’s one green fruit the millennials are obsessed with, it’s avocado.
You see it in toast, smoothies, salads, burgers and all kinds of recipes because it is jam-packed with nutrients and contains nearly 20 different vitamins and minerals.
This popular superfood is in the spotlight once again. But this time, for a reason that has nothing to do with a healthy diet.
Avocado art is giving latte art a run for its money - in the form of carvings.
The soft and creamy flesh of the avocado makes it a dream to carve - before it turns brown, that is.
It all started with the detailed masterpiece created by this award-winning 26-year-old Italian artist Daniele Barresi who carved an avocado for Amsterdam-based restaurant The Avocado Show.
Barresi, who now resides in Sydney, Australia, took just one hour to carve the avocado.
That’s no surprise considering the fact that he has been carving since he was seven years old. He has also worked on fruits and vegetables and became the world champion for that, twice!
This talented artist kicked off a series of avocado art and we foresee it becoming a trend sooner or later.
And speaking of giving latte artists a run for their money...
This artist took the art one step further by carving the avocado seed instead!
What do you think? Do you want to attempt carving one of your own?
