With prices of food continuing to increase, Malaysians are always looking for cheap eats.

Don't worry; The Baker's Cottage is here to save the day.

Worth every ringgit!

The bakery chain has recently just introduced its latest value-for-money meals which is aimed at easing the burden of pandemic-hit consumers.

And its new combo meal is worth every sen, as you'll be getting a whole roast chicken, two bowls of rice, four pieces of Macau Egg Tarts, two slices of cake and a 5L bottle of Coke, which you'll be able to serve up to four people.

How much would that cost? Just RM39.99 for the whole set!

According to The Baker's Cottage, they've decided to introduce these promos to help ease the burden of Malaysians after the poultry industry suffered significant setbacks since the start of the pandemic, with prices of chicken skyrocketing by the minute.

But they've managed to keep the price of poultry down because The Baker's Cottage is owned by regional poultry producer Leong Hup International Bhd.

Since the chickens come directly from its poultry farm thanks to its parent company, The Baker's Cottage is able to serve the most inexpensive roast chicken in town. With its farm-to-plate concept, The Baker's Cottage did not only eliminate the additional cost, but they were also able to ensure that the chickens are fresh and of the highest quality.

In fact, according to The Baker's Cottage, the price of their whole bird (which comes in barbecue or black pepper flavour, by the way) is 53 per cent cheaper compared to its closest competitor, and 67 per cent cheaper than one of Malaysia's biggest fried chicken chain.

You can head over to any The Baker's Cottage outlet to buy their Combo Set, or you can just opt for their whole bird, which is priced at only RM14.99.

Yep, sounds like a really great deal to us.
