Nothing is more important than vaccinating yourself against the coronavirus.

And for this couple, not even their own wedding day!

Priorities, priorities!

A couple, who was due to get hitched later in the day, decided to turn up at their vaccination appointment in their full wedding attire.

According to mStar, Syazwina Sam was supposed to have her solemnisation ceremony at 12pm on 4 August.

However, she got a notice that she was due for her second vaccination shot on the same day.

Instead of rescheduling, Syazwin decided to just go with it - in her wedding attire.

Getting her priorities right.
"At first, we received a date from the religious office that our solemnisation ceremony would be held on 4 August at 12pm.

"After getting my first dose on 14 July, I was told that my next appointment would be on 4 August at 2.30pm," she told the news site.

Luckily for her, a medical officer at the vaccination center allowed her to bring forward her vaccination appointment.

"Luckily, the PPV officer said I could come earlier in the morning before my ceremony," she told mStar.

Center of attention

The 26-year-old, who wanted to avoid cancelling the vaccination appointment, added that she received a lot of attention due to the wedding dress she wore to the center.

"I arrived at the PPV at 10am accompanied by my groom, who was wearing a white baju Melayu to match my dress.

"I noticed that a lot of people were staring at me, but I did not really pay attention as I was in a rush.

"Some people asked if I was wearing a costume to which I replied, ‘I’m getting married after this’," she was quoted as saying.
