If you're a sneakerhead, you would know that retro sneakers are the in-thing at the moment.

Nike recently brought back the Blazer '77 (including the gorgeous 'Stranger Things collaboration) and adidas re-released the adidas Originals LXCON which was very popular back in 1994.

And now, popular running shoe manufacturer New Balance is also jumping on the retro bandwagon.

Get excited for the 850

Over two decades after its debut in the ‘90s, the New Balance 850 is making a comeback - but with a modern, energetic twist on its iconic alternative look.

Leveraging on the sneaker’s alternative design without the traditional N logo sidewall – a radical shift for New Balance back in 1996 – this latest release features expressive colour blocking and premium material plays.

This shoe also features a classic ABZORB midsole to offer support and stability, boosted by a Rollbar posting system that reduces rear foot movement.

With an upper combining mesh, leather, webbing and reflective details in myriad colours, and a full rubber outsole, the 850 is the definition of a contemporary ‘90s aesthetic with its unique personality.

Retailing at RM439, the New Balance 850 is now available at all New Balance Experience stores nationwide.

PS: we heard that there are tonnes of different colourways, so you might just find the one you like.
