B★VERSE - BTS, Singing the Stars is an exhbition at Pavilion Bukit Jalil that promises to bring you closer to your favourite boys from Korea, BTS.

Rojak Daily was invited to attend the exhibition and while we weren't allowed to take much photos or videos inside, we came away with enough to write a little review of our experience.

We sent our resident BTS fanatic to attend and the following reporting is from their words. If you're a BTS fan and wondering if the exhibition is worth the money, read their thoughts here:

Our Expectations

As a devoted member of the BTS ARMY, I eagerly embrace anything related to them, especially since such events are not frequently organized in Malaysia.

Whether it's album releases, photocards, solo projects, or even the simple joy of being amongst the first viewers of a new music video on YouTube, I wholeheartedly support each member in any way that I can.

This exhibition came as a surprise to me, especially since it was curated by the members themselves. I was thrilled to witness what they chose to share with us, and I must say, I was not disappointed.

Main takeaways from BVERSE

The VR concert provided me with an immersive experience, bringing me up close to the boys as they sang and danced as if it were a live concert. The performance featured major hits like "Butter" and "Permission to Dance," along with my personal favourites, "Yet to Come" and "For Youth."

The exhibition's standout was "7 PLANETS," which are individually curated rooms by each member that perfectly encapsulates their personalities and interests. For instance, RM's "NATURE PLANET" embraces an indoor garden concept, reflecting Namjoon's strong passion for nature and art—a detail known to every ARMY.

On the other hand, J-Hope's "HOPE PLANET" showcases his artistic roots, with an industrial tone and graffiti walls highlighting his interest in hip-hop and street dance.

Additionally, V's "FILM PLANET" draws inspiration from his breathtaking Vante photographs, featuring his favourite film photos as the motif and Jimin's "AQUA PLANET" created a dreamy space that reflects his pure and calming personality.

This exhibition was a memorable experience for me (and I believe every ARMY) as it provided me with a unique glimpse into the diverse interests and artistic inclinations of each BTS member.

Following that, your journey continues into the enchanting realm known as "ARMY Way," where you find yourself enveloped by BTS's heartfelt messages and poignant lyrics. Lines from songs such as Mikrokosmos and Yet to Come serve as comforting and uplifting companions, along with images that captures some of BTS's unforgettable performances.

The adventure takes a thrilling turn as you delve into an immersive experience of the iconic BTS TMA stage. In a 360-degree projection, you not only witness but can also actively participate in the magic.

Singing and dancing along to the boys' electrifying performances of chart-toppers like Dynamite, Butter, and Permission to Dance, the concert-like quality of the experience adds an extra layer of excitement and immersion, making it a truly unforgettable part of the exhibition.
