Check Out What It Looks Like Inside The USD10,000 Per Ticket Japanese Luxury Train

If you’ve got about USD10,000 (RM43,400) to spare, then book a spot on Japan’s JR East Shiki-Shima!

The Shiki-Shima is a luxury sleeper train that travels from Tokyo to Hokkaido in the north.

Ticket prices start at nearly USD4,400 (RM19,000) for a normal suite and a 3D2N stay at the premium suite will set you back up to USD9,300 (RM40,300)!

We’ve all heard about how expensive train rides in Japan can be, but this luxury train is definitely on a different level.

Run by East Japan Railway, the train has ten carriages, which includes two observatory carriages, a lounge and a dining room.

You can really tell how exclusive riding on the Shiki-Shima is because the train can only carry 34 passengers on each trip.

So if you’re thinking about bringing your whole kampung on this train ride with your new bonus pay cheque, you may want to reconsider.

But then again, if you’re planning to book a ticket now, you probably need to plan your travel way ahead because the train has been fully booked until March 2018!
