Coffee Bean And Tea Leaf Offers A Ramadan/Raya Menu That’s Legit Delicious

Well, we were recently invited to Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s (CB&TL) buka puasa event and honestly had low expectations.

Sweet, Spicy, and All Things Nice

So what offerings have CB&TL little elves whipped up in the kitchen just in time for the Ramadan/Aidilfitri season?
 
Let’s start off with the Opah Rendang Pie (RM14.80), with traditional chicken rendang baked into a yummy crust, or the smoky, chargrilled Per-chick Sandwich (RM20.50), oozing with creamy percik sauce and layered with slices of hard-boiled eggs for a truly hearty meal.
 

And to wash it all down and quench your thirst, there’s exotic Turkish Mocha in few versions – Ice Blended, hot/iced latte, and cold brewed.
 
What’s a complete meal without some deserts, right?
 
The Straits Cake is back again – a fluffy pandan cake laced with Gula Melaka, cream and mascarpone cheese.
 

Other delectable options include The 72%; a luscious 72% dark chocolate cake with layers of almonds and pralines, The Sea Salt Mac; a chunky soft cookie stuffed with dark chocolate and macadamia nuts, Sour Cherry Muffin, and The Raya Cookie.

Our verdict? It definitely exceeded our expectations and was actually a filling meal!
 
The Opah Rendang Pie was absolutely exceptional, and the favourite desert out of the bunch is The Sea Salt Mac, one bite and you’ll instantly be hooked.
 

For once, a popular coffee chain actually got their meals right and checks all the boxes.
