That's what a college student in Vietnam did - although on a grander scale, we must add.
Fully functional Batmobile
A college student in Vietnam took such a liking to the Batmobile after watching the 2008 Batman film ‘The Dark Knight’ that he decided that he has to have one.
So, Nguyen Dac Chung spent 10 months and more than US$21,700 (RM89,983) to bring his vision to life.
According to a report by Vice, the 23-year-old’s dream mobile is powered by a four-cylinder 400cc engine.
It measures 3.6 metres long, 2.6 metres wide and 1.5 metres high, and can sit two passengers.
Oh, and it's not for show though; as he could actually take it out for a spin on the road as it can travel at a maximum speed of 100km/h - which is faster than a 2004 Proton Savvy.
Nguyen told the news portal that the process of building the Batmobile was not easy, as he admitted that he wanted to give up numerous times.
He reportedly struggled to find parts to build the car, and he resorted to importing them from the United States and South Korea.
“I had to reconstruct the 3D part of the car and then separate the kit parts to assemble the exterior. That is to make the frame and electric lines, install the tire parts, the car’s details,” he was quoted as saying.
Despite facing setbacks, Nguyen kept pushing on because "every time I want to give up, I think back to the reason I started to get motivated.”
