Coming Soon To A Supermarket Near You: Coffee-Flavoured Coca-Cola
If you're one of those people who can't function without coffee or rely on carbonated drinks to get a sugar high, something that combines the best of both worlds is coming to you soon.
The world's largest beverage maker Coca-Cola has revealed that they will be releasing a brand new product later this year.
Introducing Coke Coffee.

However, Coca-Cola (who acquired coffee chain Costa Coffee last August) stated that Coke Coffee has more caffeine than a can of soda, but less than a cup of coffee.
And since consumers have shifted away from consuming soft drinks to less sugary options, the company noted, Coke Coffee will be pitched as "an energy drink for that mid-afternoon slump".

Coca-Cola said they will be releasing Coke Coffee in 25 markets around the world by the end of 2019, but they did not mention whether Malaysia is one of the 25 countries.
Well, considering that an average Malaysian drinks 2.38 cups of coffee daily, they should release the product here, right?

Back in 2006, they launched Coca-Cola Blak, but it was discontinued two years later due to lukewarm response.
Then, in 2017, Coca-Cola Australia released Coca-Cola Plus Coffee into the market, and it did slightly better than Coca-Cola Blak.
Who knows, maybe third time is the charm?
