Last month, rumours were floating around that a new ‘Harry Potter’ movie is coming out and it features the original “The Boy Who Lived” himself, Daniel Radcliffe.

Naturally, many fans were super excited over the prospect (including us), so we did some digging to confirm the news but sadly, it’s not going to happen as J.K. Rowling has ruled out the possibility of any new ‘Harry Potter’ movie.

But worry not, because Rowling has some good news that’ll keep the magic alive.

The acclaimed author recently announced via Pottermore that four new ‘Harry Potter’ books will be available this year!

Four new books to add to your 'Harry Potter' collection.
All four books titled ‘Harry Potter: A History of Magic’ are divided into four subjects – ‘A Journey Through Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts’, ‘Potions and Herbology’, ‘Care of Magical Creatures’, and ‘Divination and Astronomy’.

The first two books will be released this 27 June while the remaining two will be released in the coming months.

According to Rowling, the new publications will “take you back in time once again to learn about the traditional folklore and magic at the heart of the Harry Potter stories.”

And if you’re already counting down the days to visit the nearest bookstore, you don’t need to do so because the books will only be available as e-books as of now.

But who knows, they’ll sell the physical books some time down the line.

You can pre-order your e-books now via Amazon, Apple, and Kobo. Each title will be sold for USD2.58 (RM10.79).
