The annual MyBalloon Fiesta is back for its 9th installment! Formerly known as The Annual International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in Putrajaya, this year, these guys have decided to spice things up and bring the ‘party’ to the lush neighbourhood of Desa Park City, Kuala Lumpur.
The serene green area surrounding the park will become not only a scenic setting for the hot air balloons, but also be the perfect place for you to have a picnic. Bring your own mat and laze around with your loved ones as you watch a myriad of balloons colour the sky.
Be sure to stay around until the sun sets for the highlight of the festival – the Night Glow event. An array of unique and novelty balloons will be inflated and illuminate the night. Alternatively, you can also travel early in the morning to Precint 2, Putrajaya, to witness the spectacle of these balloons taking off into the air! No other activities will be carried out at Putrajaya after the take-off though, so be sure to make your way to Desa City Park afterwards.

Don’t worry, because MyBalloon Fiesta is collaborating with Foodgasm Fest, so be sure to bring an empty tummy and eat your heart out to the delectable spread of food they have to offer. From mouthwatering local dishes to pastas and quench-thirsting drinks, there’s bound to be something for everyone.Be sure to stay around until the sun sets for the highlight of the festival – the Night Glow event. General admission tickets are priced at RM16 and RM22 for kids and adults respectively, or you can elevate your day further by joining MyBalloon Club, which offers a ton of perks such as gourmet buffet breakfast and complimentary tethered balloon ride.
