This Cupcake Is a Pimple That You Can Pop and Eat

Last year, pimple-popping videos took social media by storm. Some found it revolting, while some found a sense of satisfaction at watching blackheads and pus being removed from the pores of others. And during that point in time, nobody else did pimple-popping videos as amazing--or gross, depending on how you want to look at it--as Dr Sandra Lee aka Dr Pimple Popper.

But just when you think the fad has died a much-needed death, Dr Lee's former staff, Rachael Sanchez, who is also a baker and the owner of Blessed By Baking, is elevating the pimple-popping sensation to a whole new level. Internet, say hello to the pimple cupcake.

First served at Dr Lee's office potluck party, the giant 'pimple' is made of a plain cupcake decorated with fondant and colouring. Now, what's the point of a pimple cupcake if you can't pop it? For that extra 'gross' factor, Sanchez has also incorporated a pus-filled hole (it's actually creamy yellow pudding) that you can 'pop'. Despite the gnarly appearance of the cupcake, the pus-filled monster was delicious, according to Dr Lee. And just in case you're one of those who find this creation appetising, Sanchez has also shared a tutorial for you to watch and make on your own.
