Home-made cakes here are worth indulging in especially their Cheesecake that is creamy but not sickly sweet, with a pleasantly mellow but distinct flavour. Alternatively you could also try their D24 soft serve or scones served with butter and strawberry jam.
Charlie’s At Taman Desa

This relaxed cafe generally welcomes folks from around the neighbourhood with crowd-pleasing food fare. But even if you're not in Taman OUG, it's worth checking out Chaplang, an overhaul of the former Butter + Beans - this is currently the sole venue that offers G-Lat ice cream, a new range in playful Malaysian flavours, fashioned by local brand Forty Licks. G-Lat’s assortment is appealing enough that selecting which flavour might be problematic – they have exceptional local flavours like kaya toast, neslo, durian and gula Melaka (just to name a few). Customers can have four scoops on a dense, crispy pandan waffle with lots of kaya and bits of popcorn that’s named Bulatan Kampung Pandan.
