How many of you have encountered peddlers who try to sell their stuff while you're eating out somewhere?

Most of the time, we impatiently turn them away, but they never seem to give up.

We guess people are just trying to do their best to earn a living kan.

Anyway, one such determined person is a stall owner in Kedah, Dinie Shazwi.

Malay Mail reported that Dinie used to walk from eatery to eatery selling keropok in a basket.

“I used to sell the keropok that was priced at RM2 per packet and I met many characters along the way.

“Some people chased me away, mocked me, while there were others who were kind enough to support my keropok business,” he said.

Feeling horrible for interrupting but left with no choice

Dinie said he felt bad for interrupting people's meal times but it was something that he just had to do to earn a living.

“I am thankful, however, to those who supported me such as the food court owners and other sellers who allowed me the opportunity to walk around and sell my RM2 keropok.

“During those two years of walking around to earn an income, I remember wishing I owned a stall and two years later, my dreams have been fulfilled.”

Now, a proud owner of his own stall, Dinie is set to take on two workers to help him out.

He’s a perfect example that through sheer determination and hard work, one will succeed.

Yummy mayo prawns.

We love Dinie's dedication and if you want to support him, go visit his stall selling Udang Mayo at the Garden Station Food Court in Sungai Petani.
