It's the Hari Malaysia long weekend and there's a lot happening around Klang Valley.

Malaysia Day Out, Central Market

Why wait till Monday to start celebrating? Central Market is organising 'Malaysia Day Out' - an event to celebrate local art and other products.

Bring your kids for an evening of free craft workshops, enjoy watching traditional dance performances from around the country, and shop till you drop!

The event will be held on 14 September 2019 from 2p.m - 9p.m.

Parking in the area is not easy, so try to take public transport if you can.

Keretapi Sarong

Dig up your sarongs and get ready to have a fun day with fellow Malaysians, and maybe even make a friend or two!

'Keretapi Sarong' is an annual event where people dress in their sarong, meet at selected trains stations - Gombak, Ampang, Kajang, Bandar Utama, Subang Jaya - and move to a 'secret' location so you can learn some simple steps and join a flash mob!

Made In Malaysia, REXKL

If you have a lot of time and would like to learn something news as well as shop for awesome things, this event is for you.

Learn to cook traditional food such as Nasi Dagang and Melaka Portuguese Dessert, crafts like Sabah beading and Rungus weaving, listen to experts talk about a wide variety of topics, watch exciting performances and shop for awesome items!

Hari Malaysia And Publika Art Show

Check out the car that Tunku Abdul Rahman used during the declaration of independence of Tanah Melayu on 31 August 1957, the National Artefacts and more!

There will also be a vintage car exhibition, 'piknik-piknik' event where you can find all kinds of delicious food, traditional performances and other exciting events.
