For a change, passengers will be eyeing for middle seats due to the suite’s virtual windows.
These windows display a high-definition view using real-time camera technology mounted on the outside of the plane.
Meanwhile, suites on the side of the aircraft are fitted with a pair of Safari binoculars so that you can have a better look at the view.
Inspired by NASA technology, the seats are not only “buttery-soft” but it comes equipped with a “zero-gravity” feature.
It can be reclined to a complete lie-flat position and this option removes any pressure from the back, neck and elbows to impart a weightlessness feel.
Soft pillows, sheets and slippers are available for utmost comfort.
Another unique addition is the mood lighting and temperature control.First class passengers can adjust the room’s temperature between 18 to 26 degree Celsius, and the variety of colours add a dose of merriment or relaxation, depending on your, well, mood.
Every suite comes with a super-wide, full-HD LCD TV featuring over 2,500 channels and a wireless remote. Passengers can also stream content from their own devices.
The exclusively-developed headphones from Bowers and Wilkins does not only maximise sound quality but also has a noise cancelling feature to not disturb other passengers.
Emirates describe the suites as a “hotel in the sky” and it’s hard to disagree.Each suite, measuring a spacious 40-square-feet, is inspired by a Mercedes Benz S-Class luxury sedan and comprises of a floor-to-ceiling sliding door, curtains, full-length cupboard and a service window.
There’s also a video call function to request for "room" service.
What’s more? Each passenger gets a kit comprising of Byredo skincare, Bulgari amenity kits and a moisturising pyjamas.
Speaking of a first-class hotel sense, passengers can dine on gourmet cuisine and enjoy a wide range of wines, champagnes and spirits. There’s also a personal mini bar well-stocked with snacks and drinks.
Luxury extends beyond the suites for those arriving or leaving from UAE as there’s a complimentary chauffeured ride in a Mercedes S-Class. Just wow!
How about the business class, you ask?
The business class seats are designed with an interior of a modern sports car in mind.
The touchscreen system allows you to turn the seat into a fully lie-flat bed and it’s equipped with privacy panels between seats, a personal mini-bar and a shoe storage area.
