A 'Floating' Apple Store Is Opening In Singapore Soon, And It's So Extra, We Love It!
Well, it seems like tech giant Apple is one of those companies that believe in the saying 'go big or go home'.
The reason we say that is because they are set to open their latest flagship store in Singapore - and it's definitely very big, and very unique.
First in the world
According to a report by Mashable SEA, Apple's upcoming flagship store will be located at the very atas neighbourhood of Marina Bay Sands.
To match the atas-ness of the postcode, the store will resemble a giant UFO-like sitting on a bed of water.
Thanks to the uniqueness of the design and the location, that makes it the only Apple retail shop on the planet that floats on water.
This floating orb will be the third Apple store in Singapore: following the first store at Orchard Road and the second one at Jewel Changi Airport.
Tech website 9to5Mac spotted several marketing images and blurbs promoting the new store, which has been dubbed "the lantern on the bay".
“During the day, the store’s glass panels reflect the towering skyline of the Downtown Core and motion of the rippling water.
"At night, the sphere glows with a gentle warmth, evoking the design of traditional lanterns carried during Singapore’s Mid-Autumn Festival,” one of the marketing slides read.

Apple said, in a statement, that the Marina Bay Sands flagship "will be at the heart of creativity, a place we’ve made for you to capture your ideas and passions. It will be a space for you to explore, connect, and create something new."
However, Apple did not reveal when the store will be opening, but that does add to the excitement, doesn't it?
Now that Singapore has three Apple Stores, can we get one in Malaysia, please?
