Guess who’s the latest popular personality that has become a Youtuber?

It’s none other than former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

According to a report in SoraNews24, Shinzo posted his first video on his official YouTube channel on Oct 19, in which he greeted everyone and stated his mission to share his views on the streaming platform.

Abe is not known for his social media savviness

The move to join YouTube is seen as the 67-year-old’s move ahead of the general election. Although, his first post was merely a greeting.

His YouTube debut was met with mixed feelings by netizens.

“I refuse to subscribe to that channel,” said one user.

“He’s going to break out as the biggest YouTuber ever!” said another user.

“Finally on a medium where he can’t be censored! I look forward to your success!” said yet another user.

We wish Shinzo all the best in his move!
