Acer Day is back!
On Friday (30 July), Acer Malaysia officially announced the annual Acer Day campaign with this year's theme being ’Live Your World‘ to encourage Malaysians to make the best of whatever situation they are in.This year, Acer is bringing the celebration online due to public health concerns during the pandemic. Following the philosophy of connecting people through music from its predecessor, this year sees Acer gathering young singers from six countries to produce the theme song "Live Your World".
Representing Malaysian is Aina Abdul, who carried her part in Malay and English. The Malaysian songstress is joined by other talented singers from - Indonesia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
Acer is preparing several promotions to thank its supportive customers with the Acer Day x Shopee Superbrand Day on 3 and 4 August 2021. Promotions include:
- Up to 60 per cent or up to RM500 off for Acer’s wide range of products.
- Up to RM200 store vouchers available for customers to collect and apply during checkout.
- The top 10 spenders from select Acer Stores on Shopee will be able to bring home a Predator Gaming Chair that worth RM1,299.
- 100 units of Predator Gaming Chair specially priced at RM359 will be available once Acer Malaysia Official Store on Shopee hits 30,000 followers.
- Standard Chartered Bank and HSBC Bank credit card holders will be able to stack vouchers up to RM300 when they check out their shopping cart.
From 1 August until 30 September 2021, customers will also be entitled to redeem gifts such as the Acer Yoga Mat, Predator Mousepad, Gateway Pro Wireless Headset or eWallet vouchers worth up to RM250.
In addition, customers stand a chance to bring home Acer products worth RM10,000.
On top of that, Acer Malaysia will donate a portion of the proceeds from every purchase of select devices during this campaign on behalf of customers to World Vision.

Acer Swift Series – Thin & Light for Everyone
In the same event, Acer also announced an update to its highly in-demand laptops - Acer Swift 3 and Acer Swift 1.
The Acer Swift series is known as the popular thin and light series, and now, Swift 3 comes with a bigger 16-inch display while Swift 1, the affordable thin and light laptop, now comes with a new Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor.
Equipped with the 16-inch FHD IPS display, Acer Swift 3 offers bigger “workspace” and larger enjoyment to the users. Both Acer Swift 3 and Acer Swift 1 come with pre-installed Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019.
Both models will be available starting from 3 August 2021 at all Acer official online stores and Acer authorised resellers stores nationwide. The Acer Swift 1 is priced at RM2,099, while the16-inch Acer Swift 3 comes with two variants which powered by 11th Gen Intel Core i7 and Intel Core i5, priced at RM4,599 and RM3,699 respectively.
