We Malaysians and Korea have a special connection; we’re huge K-Pop fans, we binge on their K-dramas (any special appearance from a Korean star in Malaysia drives fans crazy!) and we obviously adore the skincare products that hail from this land.
That is probably the reason why thousands of Malaysians make their way to South Korea each year.
The most popular and accessible destinations in Korea are, of course, Seoul and Busan, which you can fly directly there via AirAsia X. But we’ve heard a lot of stories about another Korean destination, the ultra scenic and idyllic Jeju Island, and we are pretty sure you dream of going there one day.
Bask in the scenic view at Seongsan Ilchulbong peak.
You can even kayak at one of it's azure-blue water beaches.
Calming sunset at Jungmun Beach.
Instagram-worthy cherry blossoms!
Well, that day is finally here!
AirAsia X has recently announced that they will be launching a new route, one that we Malaysians have been anticipating for so long – direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to Jeju.
We hope this news is true!
According to several travel pages on Facebook, AirAsia X will fly the new route four times a week, based on an image that’s been floating around social media platforms. No word on how much the plane tickets would cost, but like every AirAsia announcement, there’s bound to be a promo for inaugural flight.
A press conference will be held soon following the announcement, so we’ll probably find out how much the flight tickets will cost, and when the new route will commence.
Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
