Here’s A List Of COVID-19 Funds You Can Donate To, To Help Frontliners And Those Affected

Iylia Adreena 20/03/2020 | 03:54 MYT
As the number of COVID-19 cases rise in our country, our healthcare frontliners are increasingly burned out working long-hours in uncomfortable safety suits and in a high-risk environment.
Not only that, the Movement Control Order that kicked off on 18 March has caused people to panic shop and due to this, the elderly and the poor are highly affected, as it’s hard for them to get access to necessities.
Help them help us.
You may ask yourself, how can you be a useful person during this testing period (besides stay at home like a good citizen)?
Well the answer is simple – you can donate to NGO groups or individuals who are raising funds for our frontliners as well as vulnerable communities.
Here’s the list of funds we found so far, thanks to award-winning local author Hanna Alkaf who helped compile it via a website she recently set up, kitajaga.us.

#6 FashionValet & IMARET Covid19 Support Fund

We need each other more than ever right now. My husband @fadzaanuar and I, on behalf of @fashionvaletcom are organising a fundraiser to help with covid19. We've teamed up with @drmusanordin and @imaret_my who have been relentlessly helping many in need already. It all started when my husband and I decided to donate some portable airconds to hospital and then more and more people reached out to share conditions of their own hospitals. As covid19 cases rise, hospitals wont be able to cope so we need to act fast to get our hospitals ready and make the patients, staff and volunteers' lives as comfortable as possible. They are the frontliners combatting covid19 for us and this is the least we can do for them and our country. I hope you will take time to donate to the fund even a little bit, however your financials allow. You can donate via internet banking, credit card, whichever is easiest for you, by clicking the link in my bio. I also hope you can share this video to as many people as possible so more people can help. Time for us to be bigger than just ourselves, and may God bless you all for your help. So proud to be a part of this community. Thank you. ❤ *Donations more than RM500 are eligible for tax exemption. PRIOR to transaction, kindly email: finance.imamalaysia@gmail.com or contact 013-9861898 for details. **For more info on the fund and IMARET, please click link in my bio.
