Sometimes, all you want to do when camping out, is to sleep without any disturbances. Most times, however, that is actually impossible because of other noisy campers around.

When facing such a situation, a good tip to follow is to wrap up your whole body including your head, resembling a ‘hantu pocong’ and get some proper shut eye.

Brilliant or just mean?

No, the tip didn’t come from us.

It was the idea of Facebook user Jiwakacau Yut, who shared the trick on a Facebook group called 'Hiking and Camping Around Malaysia'.

"If you're camping and don't want your next door neighbour to make a lot of noise until late at night, here's a tip to get them to leave the area immediately.

"Isn't it safe?" he wrote, while sharing photos of himself wrapped up tightly in a blue cloth, as opposed to the white cloth that’s usually associated with ‘hantu pocong’.

He said the technique also keeps campers from stealing his possessions and the person following it doesn’t even require a camping tent.

Netizens didn’t fail to see the wit behind the idea.

"It doesn't have to be a white-colored shroud. These colors wrapped that way are already scary enough," commented one user.

"I'm worried about waking up and being questioned by angels," commented another.

It would have been a camping trip to remember for those who came across the "hantu pocong".
