But now, we are getting a case of food envy, because we want something the KFC outlets in the US are serving: doughnut burger.

Yep, that's right: KFC is serving a burger that consists of a fried chicken patty sandwiched between two glazed doughnuts.

According to a report by the Business Insider, everyone's favourite fried chicken chain announced last week that they are testing its “Chicken and Donuts” menu for a limited time at more than 40 locations in the US states of Norfolk and Richmond, Virginia, and Pittsburgh.

The burger is exactly what it sounds like: a burger with a crunchy chicken fillet with two glazed doughnuts acting as the buns.

If you want something more conventional, you could also get the more normal Chicken and Donuts meal consisting of a piece of fried chicken on the bone or chicken tenders with one or two doughnuts.

The meal is priced at USD5.50 (RM22.98) for one doughnut and USD7.50 (RM31.33) for two doughnuts. The sandwich, meanwhile, is priced at USD6 (RM25.07) or as a combo meal for USD8 (RM33.42).
