Are you one of those people who enjoy café hopping every weekend and is always eager to be the first to try out new desserts and pastries? Or perhaps you have an addiction for all things sweet and visually-pleasing? Well, we’ve got great news for you!

The Academy of Pastry Arts Malaysia will be organising Malaysia’s first Academy Pastry Festival where you’ll be transported into a pastry wonderland, filled with sinful treats and world class pastries.

We're already salivating looking at this picture.Beautiful, sweet, and sinful.
You can find a wide range of chocolates, cookies, French pastries, travel cakes, viennoiseries, bread, savoury items and many more at the festival. There will also be a display of intricate sugar and chocolate sculptures.

Basically, what that means is, you’ll go home with a happy face and a happy tummy (and probably an appointment to the dentist too).

The 101 Dalmatians sugar display.
The academy has produced world-class alumni such as Xiaoly Koh, who runs Xiao by Crustz in PJ, Viona Coksen (The Glaze Patisserie, Medan, Indonesia), and Karina Harwin (Soneva Hotels Maldives).

If you’re interested in enrolling into the academy or want to know what it feels like to learn how to make pastries, you can participate in the free trial classes. You can register for the classes here.

The Academy Pastry Festival Malaysia 2017 will take place on 16 December 2017 from 10am-4pm at Academy of Pastry Arts Malaysia, PJ. For more info about the festival, visit their website.
