While many people dream of living in large houses that has been elaborately decorated with luxurious furnishings, some prefer to ditch the lavish lifestyle and live in tiny houses.

For people like this, Ikea has a solution.

The Swedish furniture company is renting out a tiny 10-square-metre (107-square-foot) apartment in Tokyo for as low as just ¥99 (RM3.70) per month.

The apartment, called ‘Tiny Home’ is fully furnished with Ikea furniture including a washing machine and a fridge, reported Malay Mail, citing a report from CNN and Mirror UK.

Meanwhile, the main living area includes a kitchenette and bathroom, with a loft-style sleeping area that can be reached through a ladder.

The future tenant need only to pay for utility bills.

Application for tenancy will be open until Dec 3 and potential tenants must be over 20 years old.

This is not the first time IKEA has come up with this concept but this is probably the smallest space we've seen.

Despite the space looking cozy and all, we think we'd suffocate and die if we have to live in it for any length of time. What do you guys think?
