It's BE@RBRICK'S Turn To Get The Royal Selangor Treatment

This one's just for you, all the hypebeasts out there!

Everyone's favourite pewter manufacturer Royal Selangor has been on a roll this year. First, they launched this awesome-looking Batman figurine. Then, they gave Marvel favourites Iron Man and Spider-Man the pewter treatment.

And now, they've just launched a new figurine that's sure to get hypebeasts excited!

Royal Selangor has teamed up with world renowned toy manufacturer Mediacom Toy to launch a pewter version of their most popular collectible - the BE@RBRICK.

This is the first collaboration between both companies, and the '400% BE@RBRICK ROYAL SELANGOR' is the first ever BE@RBRICK made of pewter.

Oh yeah, it's special alright!

The special edition BE@RBRICK stands at 28cm tall, which, in layman's term, means that it's going to look pretty darn good on that shelf in your house.

Now, here's the real question: how much is this awesomeness gonna cost?

Surprisingly, it's not super expensive. It is priced at RM3,900 and is currently available for pre-order at all Royal Selangor stores for a limited time only.

The subject of every hypebeast's desire, these block-style bears are highly sought after in the collectible toy scene.

Famed for their collaborative works, the BE@RBRICK has been made-over by various designers and brands such as Swarovski, Chanel, Comme des Garçons and popular streetwear brand KAWS.

In fact, the most expensive BE@RBRICK ever sold was this one-of-a-kind ‘Qiu Tu’ 1000% Bearbrick' created by Chinese contemporary artist Yue Minjun:

It was sold for USD189,675 (RM775,296) in an auction.

So, that Royal Selangor BE@RBRICK doesn't sound so expensive after all, huh?
