How important is Organ Transplants and Donations for those who are afflicted with impaired kidney functions? With more than 15.4% of Malaysians suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease (based on 2018 statistics), the National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia (NKF) is continuing its education awareness initiative with a Community Organ Donation Drive (CODE): Life Webinar − Living Kidney Transplant in a bid to raise further awareness.

Hear first-hand from nephrologists Dr Shahnon Anuar Shahrani of Hospital Kemaman and Dr Nur Hidayati Bt Mohd Sharif of Pusat Perubatan Universiti Teknologi Mara, Sg. Buloh as they empower webinar attendees with practical and relevant medical insights − covering the realities of living with kidney disease and the misconceptions surrounding organ donation. The webinar will be held on 30 October 2021 (Saturday) from 10am to 12pm.

Two couples of kidney donors & recipients will also share their experiences and attendees can engage in a lively Q&A session with the nephrologists and the couples thereafter.
