Online shopping has made our lives a lot easier with the option of having things delivered to our doorstep with just the click of a button.
However, some people still hesitate making online purchases, especially for expensive items like gadgets and household products.
What if I get a faulty item? What if there is a problem with my transaction? What if I fall victim to credit card theft?
Those are some of the questions people have. Hence, they would rather opt for cash-on-delivery (COD) payment as the safer option.
Now, one of the most popular e-commerce websites, Lazada Malaysia has finally launched the COD payment method for over 4.5 million international products on its platform.
According to a Bernama report, consumers can now purchase international products and choose to pay via COD during the checkout process for categories like fashion, electronic accessories, home and living, etc.
The e-commerce website first introduced the COD payment method to 170 merchants from China in order for them to reach customers living out of the city, where COD is a preferred option for online shopping.
This payment method has been made available for all online purchases made in major cities across the country.
So start shopping away!
