Hand-painted designs
According to a report in Reuters, The Maniqure Nail Salon in Kuala Lumpur has designed a set of nails for the show’s nine episodes.Yes, for the "Red Light, Green Light" episode, the nail salon features the killer giant animatronic doll while for the "Hell" episode, the nails were painted with red-suited game officials and a pink-ribboned coffin.
The salon’s co-owner Lim Pei Xin said every nail is painstakingly hand painted.
"Is it difficult to draw? Yes a little bit because... it's all 100 per cent hand painting, not printing.
"Every fine line we have to stop breathing,” said Lim.
Meanwhile the report quoted another co-owner, Chin Kwan, as saying that the demand for the nails came from international buyers and local ones.
