Local Wedding Goes Viral After Bride Arrives In A Kelisa; Ceremony Attended By Only 11 People
Nowadays, turning your dream wedding into a reality is pretty easy, especially when you can find everything off the internet.
Some like extravagant wedding ceremonies; others may prefer an intimate, low-key one.
For one couple, their humble wedding ceremony went viral on social media recently for its modesty.
Small, intimate wedding
Wedding photographer, Bingkai Photovisuals, shared a series of photos of their client arriving at their own wedding ceremony in a humble blue Perodua Kelisa, looking radiant and happy. And the cherry on top of the cake was the fact that only the bride and groom’s immediate family members attended the solemnisation ceremony, making it a grand total of 11 people! We shot a wedding last week where the Nikah was very humble and sweet. The bride rides a Kelisa Biru to the nikah which was only attended by only the bride and grooms immediate family.Simplicity is elegant. The couple got hitched at the Bukit Antarabangsa mosque.
And apparently, the couple come from a rich cultural background, with the bride being Malay-Chinese and the groom being Sarawak Melanau-Malay.
The intimate ceremony received praises from netizens and some can't help but to express envy over their simple wedding:

it's utterly elegant and incredibly romantic in its simplicity.. nothing to distract from focusing on what truly matters and the wonderful memories to make and enjoy together as the 2 families unite into a bigger and more joyous unit ??— tolkien abt Chewy ?? (@AmethystChew1) January 19, 2020
Beautiful. I wish many others would appreciate and see the deeper meaning to this simplicity.— azfarhashim (@azfarhashim1) January 19, 2020
