Malaysia's Largest Coffee Fest Is Back This Weekend

Malaysia Coffee Fest 2018 is set to welcome more than 20,000 visitors at 1 Utama Shopping Centre from now till Sunday, 15 July.

Throughout this weekend, coffee fans will be treated to a packaged progamme at the festival with up to 96 coffee-fuelled brands to explore.

Visitors will be spoiled for choice with the wide array of coffee machines and accessories, coffee beans and tea leaves, and brews and concoctions.

Serious coffee lovers will also have the chance to meet top-class baristas, local artisan coffee bean roasters, independent specialty coffee houses, coffee bean purveyors and suppliers, as well as coffee equipment distributors and manufacturers.

And if you need a little bit of sweet treats, you can also explore the local bakeries serving their best pastries to pair with the finest coffee and tea.

Besides that, there is also a series of workshops lined up, with coffee experts speaking on topics like 'Journey from Bean to Cup', 'Brewing Made Easy', 'Espresso Yourself', 'Shaken, Not Stirred', 'Raising Your Standards of Coffee', and 'Coffee & Health'.

As for aspiring entrepreneurs and café owners, you will find 'So, You Want To Open A Café?' insightful.

Last but not least, the most exciting part about this festival is the national coffee championships.

Visitors will be spectators to skilled contestants battling for the top spots on stage in these categories: Malaysia Open Latte Art Championship 2018 (13 & 15 July), Malaysia Open Barista Championship 2018 (12 & 15 July) and the inaugural Roastedly® Open Drip Bag Coffee Championship (Malaysia) on 14 July.

Besides that, visitors will also have their own contests to win exclusive prizes, such as 'Sure Win Dip' and a Lucky Draw Contest.
