9 March marks a historic day for Malaysia as the eighth Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced his full cabinet lineup then.

There were mixed reactions from Malaysians about the lineup and there were a few who stood out.

One of them is former Youth and Sports Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin.

Khairy, who’s also fondly known as KJ or Abah KJ, was appointed as the new Science, Technology, and Innovation Minister.

The charismatic Rembau MP’s comeback in the cabinet was the talk of the town among Malaysians which resulted with him trending on Twitter the whole day.

Netizens congratulated him for his new post and are looking forward to seeing him back in action.

However, not all were too pleased with him being in the cabinet because hey, you can’t please everyone and every politician needs some check and balance.
