Tetangga Kita, an eatery originated from Indonesia specialising in martabak, has recently introduced its new packaging – “To all our frontliners, Makasih Ya” – to show appreciation towards frontliners in this unprecedented time.

In conjunction with the campaign, Tetangga Kita is partnering with The Hope Branch, a non-profit organisation (NGO), founded by Harith Iskander and Dr Jezamine also known as Pertubuhan Harapan Amal Harith Iskander, where part of proceeds of the total campaign sales will be donated to the NGO.

Specially addressed to frontliners with “Makasih Ya” which translates to “Thank You”, Tetangga Kita “Makasih Ya” campaign will run from December until February 2021.

Aiming to bring the Indonesian street food closer to Malaysians, the martabak-focused eatery uses authentic ingredients and recipes imported from Indonesia.

Tetangga Kita offers two options, Martabak Manis and Martabak Telor, translated as sweet martabak and savoury martabak respectively.

For Martabak Manis, customers have the option to enjoy the thicker version with the richness of the flavour in a whole bite or the perfectly rationed thin version to savour the crisp and crunchy taste of it.

Some of the specialities on Tetangga Kita’s menu include the Jagung Keju (Tebal), Lotus Biscoff (Tebal) and Sapi, which is the crispy egg martabak with beef tenderloin, onions and leek.

As appealing as it sounds, cold beverages such as the bottled Cold Brew Latte, made from single-origin Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee beans cold-brewed with milk and a hint of gula Melaka, is another offering perfectly paired with the choice of martabaks available.

Tetangga Kita has two outlets; one is located in Hartamas Shopping Centre, Kuala Lumpur and another outlet in Paradigm Mall, Petaling Jaya.

With the launch of the new packaging, Tetangga Kita jumps on the bandwagon to cherish our frontliners, hospitals, police and armed forces.
