Beauty pageant fans, if you have a steady calendar of upcoming pageants, then you’ll know for sure that the next upcoming pageant, Miss International, is set to take place this November.

And if you’re wondering if Malaysia will take part in the pageant, the answer is yes, and she will definitely give her competitors a run for their money!

Meet 22-year-old Charmaine Chew, who will be representing our country at the 2019 Miss International pageant happening on 12 November in Tokyo, Japan.

The Kedahan is currently pursuing her studies in Public Relations and is also a host and a model (obviously).

The face of Malaysia, boys and girls.
She was also featured in a TEDxYouth talk in 2018 where she discussed about “embracing your quarter life crisis”.

If you think she looks very familiar, that’s because she’s the face of Shiseido, Subaru, Sofy, UOB Bank, and Samsung.

Charmaine, who stands at 173cm tall, will compete against 82 contestants from around the world in the 59th installment of Miss International.

In 2018, Mariem Velazco from Venezuela took home the crown and title.
