You’ve probably seen hundreds or thousands of models throughout your life, be it on TV, newspapers, magazines or web portal.

Among the things people look for in a model is their unique look that’ll make them unforgettable.

And this model is the walking definition of unforgettable – Nyakim Gatwech.

World record holder

The Sudanese model went viral after some hailed her for having the “darkest skin on the planet”, and that earned her a spot in the Guinness World Records.

Love love love!
However, the world record is hoax, as Guinness says they do not “monitor records for skin tone”, but her beauty is indeed 100 per cent real.

The 27-year-old model moved to the US after fleeing the civil war in Kenya with her parents when she was 14, but sadly lost two of her siblings in the process.

Nyakim, who is also known as the ‘Queen of Dark’, has modeled for Calvin Klein and L’Oreal, just to name a few, and has also graced a handful of fashion magazine covers.

Beauty comes in all shape colors and side don't ever let anyone tell you what is beautiful. The model has amassed over 850,000 followers on Instagram and is very proud of her skin tone.

“When I put a picture up I'm telling people that no matter what you say, I love who I am. I love my skin tone. I’m telling people that I am beautiful even though I look different than the majority of people in this world I live in,” Nyakim told Teen Vogue in an interview.

Well, we love her skin tone too, and we hope she’ll be an inspiration to young girls out there who are struggling to accept their ethnicity and skin tone.

She’s absolutely a queen inside and out!
