The Merdeka dUCk Scarves Are A Lovely Ode To P. Ramlee Films And Our National Flower

It’s August so that could mean only one thing for die-hard fans of dUCk Scarves – celebrating our 62^nd Independence Day in style with the long-anticipated Merdeka dUCk collection.

And this year, the dUCk Group may have just outdone themselves with their best campaign to date in conjunction with the Merdeka celebration.

The 2019 Merdeka dUCk is an explosion of elegant floral patterns as an ode to our national flower and other flowers that make up part of “our history and heritage and are prominently featured in cultural and national ceremonies.”

But what caught our eye the most was the classic Malay names given for each and its very own theme song, which is a lovely ode to all of our favourite classic P. Ramlee movies and its iconic characters.

There is a total of six designs named Zaiton, Saloma, Juwita, Faridah, Latifah, and Azizah, which are sold for RM250 per piece.

Fans have been singing praises for the campaign and design that helped bloom patriotic feelings, saying that it embodies our traditional heritage and culture.
