Her successful Lip Kits became such a hit among beauty junkies that it launched the 19-year-old straight into the Forbes 100 Celebrity list, making her the young person in the list.
But Kylie isn’t the only Kardashian-Jenner sibling with a cosmetic line now.
The woman who put highlighting and contouring in the world map of beauty, and possibly the OG beauty guru in the family, is launching her first makeup collection.
On Tuesday, Kim Kardashian shared a series of videos on her Instagram account with the caption “@kkwbeauty” and numbers that looked like a date – “06.21.17”.
Within the blink of an eye, a separate Instagram account for the brand called KKW Beauty appeared with the same posts.
Staying true to the family’s reputation and fame, KKW Beauty caught a lot of attention almost immediately and has already gained nearly110,000 followers at the time of writing.
Fans began speculating what specific products Kim K will be launching, maybe a line inspired by the current signature look she’s been sporting – bold eyebrows, contoured cheeks and a nude lip.
But the reality TV star turned entrepreneur confirmed her first product in another Instagram post.
What else would she work on first other than a contour kit? A cream contour kit, to be exact, that comes with a dual-ended brush and a highlighter kit.
KKW Beauty is essentially a line inspired by Kardashian’s own makeup routine which focuses on the skin, contouring, concealer among, her other favourites.
And it sounds like she’s actually very involved in every step of the production!
“You should see my house at home. [It] is filled with every shade, formula, it's really exciting going through this journey, and doing it all by myself and figuring it out,” Kardashian told Forbes.
However, this isn’t the first time she dabbled in the world of beauty. In 2012, she launched Khroma Beauty Line under Kardashian Beauty with her sisters Kourtney and Khloé. A couple of months ago, she also collaborated with Kylie for an exclusive range called KKW x Kylie.
But apparently, Kim isn’t just going to stop at makeup! She posted a photo on Snapchat with bottles of fragrance spread out on the table and the caption “KKW fragrance meeting”.
Looks like KKW is certainly going all out to redeem herself after a traumatic incident in Paris last year and build a whole new empire for herself.
Based on the Instagram posts, we can expect the line to launch on 21 June. KKW Beauty products will be available online at www.kkwbeauty.com for now.
