The social media app has suddenly exploded in popularity, as more and more people are turning to the app to keep themselves entertained while being stuck at home.
This one man did the same; you know, turning to TikTok to cure his boredom.
His TikTok video went viral, but not for the reason he was expecting.
According to a report by Unilad, the man named Reuben recently uploaded a video of him dancing along to Doja Cat’s "Say So" over the weekend.
His dance moves weren't the thing that could people's attention. Rather, it was a spooky-looking creature that peeked out from his staircase.
In the video, at around the four second mark, viewers pointed out that a figure appears to pop its head around the corner for a second or two, before disappearing back into the shadows.
Here's the kicker: Reuben said he was home alone at the time.

Another one of his followers also commented, saying: "The AMOUNT OF ANXIETY I have from his video. That’s someone literally poking their head TO LOOK AT YOU."
Of course, there were those who doubted his video, claiming that it was a stunt he pulled to gain publicity because he went out of his way to mention that he was "home alone" in the caption of the video.
"Hey, I'm alive and safe. Thank you to everyone who was concerned. I'm kinda stomach sick rn (right now) and I was in and out of sleep all of last night," he wrote in the post.
He also came out to address the speculation of him staging the whole thing, saying that he was "99 per cent certain that it wasn’t a person on the stairs because the stairs are loud".
"The audio from the TikTok when I was recording wasn’t that loud, I definitely would have heard them. The stairs are creaking like hell," he further added.
He also answered a couple of questions in another video, and he confirmed that he has no pets, he was home alone and there are no possums near where he lives.
He did, however, say that he wasn't surprised that this creepy thing happened to him because "this stuff has happened my entire life living in this house".

After his clip went viral, Reuben later uploaded another video to thank them for their concern, adding that he barely slept the night after he uploaded the video clip."Hey, I'm alive and safe. Thank you to everyone who was concerned. I'm kinda stomach sick rn (right now) and I was in and out of sleep all of last night," he wrote in the post.
