Netizens Are Mesmerised By This Photo Of A Malaysian Boy's Eye Posted By Apple
Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder.
But for this one Malaysian boy, the beauty is his eye and Malaysian netizens agree.
Apple of his eye
A photo of four-year-old Luth Fateh Badrul Akram's right eye has memesmerised netizens after it was posted on Apple's official Instagram account last Tuesday (12 October).
According to New Straits Times, the gorgeous picture was taken by the boy's father, Badrul Akram Badaruddin, using his wife's iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Badrul told Harian Metro that the photo was captured while he and his family were travelling to his mother's house in Kamunting.

"It was a spur-of-the-moment thing to take the picture in the car about 6pm when the sun was bright,” he told the Malay daily.
He then uploaded the photo on his personal Instagram account with the hashtags #ShotoniPhone and #ShotoniPhoneProMax.
Little did he know at that time, the photo will catch Apple's eye (pun kinda intended).
Apple responds
Badrul revealed that Apple later contacted him for his personal information and said that they will consider the posting the photo on their official Instagram account, which boasts more than 26.6 million followers.
However, he told Harian Metro that didn’t put high hopes on the photo being selected because Apple ghosted him two years back after he submitted a photo for a night mode picture challenge.
But this time around, Apple did publish his photo, much to his delight.
"I did not expect my picture to be chosen this time around, so my dream to be recognised by Apple has been achieved," he said.
Badrul, who ventured into photography in 2010, said he refers a lot to Apple’s Instagram account not only for the photos, but for the beautiful captions and stories.
"I am grateful that my son's picture has been picked and shared for the whole world to see."
Well done, Badrul! We can't wait to see more of your photos being published by the tech giant.
