According to a report by Times Now News, the photo which was taken in Tamil Nadu after a forest officer rescued the baby elephant and reunited it with its mother.
As a sign of gratitude, the cute little fella decided to give his rescuer a tiny little hug with its trunk.
Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Parveen Kaswan took to Twitter to share the photo.
"Love has no language. A baby elephant hugging a forest officer. The team rescued this calf and reunited it with its mother," Parveen wrote as the caption.
The photo has since received almost 16,000 likes and over 1,500 retweets to date.
The report also cited an earlier tweet by IFS officer Sudha Ramen, who revealed that the baby elephant was found wandering around alone and injured.
"This little calf happily walks to get reunited with its mother guarded with Z+ security of the Tamil Nadu foresters team. Earlier the calf was found alone and injured. TN forest team rescued, treated and escorted the little one to join with the mother," she said in the tweet.
This photo definitely made our day.
We are so glad the little guy is back with its mommy now.
