Brand new day, brand new internet challenge.
It seems like it was only yesterday that the #InMyFeelings Challenge (or the Kiki Challenge) was a thing. But before we can say "Kiki, do you love me?", a brand new challenge has emerged and taken over its place.
Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you: the Falling Stars Challenge.
What exactly is the Falling Stars Challenge?
While the Kiki Challenge requires you to jump out of a moving car and bust some moves, the Falling Stars Challenge requires you to fall flat on your face.Well, not literally, because that would be extremely painful.
This challenge involves Netizens to post pictures of their best fake fall on their social media pages, like this:
They would then nominate their friends or followers to do the same, so it's going to be an endless circle of people falling flat on their faces.
But unlike other Internet challenges before this, the Falling Stars Challenge has a bit of an atas origin story.
This new craze was started by extremely wealthy people in Russia, and the whole idea of this challenge is for them to flaunt their wealth.
That's the reason why you see them 'falling to their deaths' from their luxury yacht, private planes and supercars (ugh, show off!):
Malaysians showing you how it's done:
Not to be outdone, Malaysian Netizens are also picking up the challenge...in their very own Malaysian way:You Malaysians never fail to make us laugh lah. If you're planning to do your own Falling Stars Challenge, remember to send us the photos.
We would love to laugh at you.
