Wel, we can now add another one to the list - and this one comes with international recognition.
Only Malaysian destination to make the list
A destination resort located in Johor has been named as one of the greatest places in the world for 2021.In fact, Desaru Coast is the only Malaysian destination to make TIME Magazine's 'World's Greatest Places of 2021' list this year.
The magazine described Desaru Coast as a place that offers the global audience "a beach escape experience with their range of international hotels, golf-courses, and cruises through the Sedili Wetlands".
Well, the praise is not unfounded, as Desaru Coast -- nestled against 17 kilometres of pristine beachfront -- boasts several world class hotels, two world class golf courses and also, the region's largest adventure waterpark.
It sounds like heaven, don't you think?

Desaru Coast Destination Resort’s Managing Director Roslina Arbak said in a statement that they were honoured to be recognised by TIME Magazine.
"This is an outstanding achievement for a team only two years in operations, and after what has been and continues to be a challenging time for the industry.
"With this notable feather in our cap, we look forward to welcoming guests from all over the world once travel resumes," Arbak said in the statement.
We also can't wait for travels to resume so that we can finally check out Desaru Coast.
