We’ll leave the question of who wore what the best (or the worse) to fashion critics, but one thing’s for sure – their outfits will be documented and immortalised in pictures for many decades to come.
So, how does one document these outfits during the awards season to make it more…memorable?
Meet photographer Tricia Messeroux, the brainchild behind Toddlewood. Toddlewood is an Instagram account which shot to fame for recreating red carpet looks within 48 hours after the end of an award show using models you least expect – kids.
People say good things come in small packages, and these kids were definitely the essence of goodness in this mini-me red-carpet series.
In the recent Oscars, these petite models strutted their stuff by recreating looks by Karlie Kloss, Jessica Biel, Halle Berry, Janelle Monae, and Academy Award winner, Viola Davis.
Among the five, the most spot on look would be Viola Davis’ red Armani Prive Dress.
Before the Oscars, the Grammy Awards took place. And as expected, Toddlewood recreated some of the most iconic fashion that night, including one that caught our attention the most, Beyoncé's performance outfit. The resemblance is uncanny!
The level of adorable-ness of mini Beyoncé will make your heart melt.
We can't wait until the next awards season to see what other red-carpet looks Toddlewood will try to recreate.
