For some strange reasons, we just love walking around IKEA even if we don't need to buy any furniture.
There's just something satisfying about spending an entire day at their stores, right?
For the people in Tokyo, however, they'll be getting an IKEA experience like no other and to be honest, we're quite jealous.

Their first ever urban store

The Swedish home furniture brand has recently opened the doors of its first ever convenience store in Tokyo.
SoraNews reported that the convenience store -- the first of its kind in the world, by the way -- is located right in the middle of the Tokyo city center.
It is nestled within a new 12-storey shopping complex in Harajuku called With Harajuku.
Swanky new outlet.
IKEA has positioned this outlet as the company's first ever urban store, and you can find the usual ready-made, self-assemble furniture in the four-floor complex.
Just like your usual IKEA store.
A new bed, anyone?
And within the same compound, you'll find the first IKEA convenience store in the world.
Like any convenience store, you can purchase a wide variety of snacks and drinks, as well as palm-sized IKEA eco bags, plant-based cup ramen, and organic drinks.
The world's first IKEA convenience store!
Drinks for everybody!
However, the only thing you can't get at this IKEA convenience store is their crowd-favourite meatballs.
Instead, the store sells Tunnbröd, which is a kind of flatbread.
But we want our meatballs though.
They also have other Tokyo-exclusive food items that are unavailable at other IKEA stores in Japan, such as plant-based ice cream and cinammon rolls.
OK lah, this one looks yummy.
Ice cream for your soul.
Oh, did we mention that they also sell four types of low-alcohol craft beer directly imported from popular Swedish brewery Omnipollo in their cafe as well?
OK, we're sold! Take us to your Harajuku outlet please, IKEA!
