Powerlah! Malaysia Has The 39th Sexiest Accent In The World

New Zealand accent has been voted as the sexiest in the world, according to travel website Big 7 Travel.

Readers of the travel website had voted for the Kiwi accent, stating that its "ridiculously charming".

You must be thinking: 'Is the Malaysian accent even in the list?'

The answer is...yes, we are! In fact, Malaysia made it into the top 50.

However, we're kind of at the bottom-ish part of the list -- we were ranked number 39 -- but there are over 100 countries in the world, so can still be proud lah.

Our frienemy and neighbour, Singapore, meanwhile, didn't make it to the list. (We just thought you'd like to know).

Our Malaysian accent has been ranked the third best among four Southeast Asian countries. The accents, according to the order of the ranking, were Filipino (21st), Vietnamese (25th) and Thai (48th).

Honestly, we can't quite figure out what the Malaysian accent is. Is our rojak language what people find attractive?

Whatever is it, we'll take it lah!

The sexy accent list is not the only list by the website that our country made it to.

Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru were listed as number nine and 37, respectively, in the website's 'Top 50 Most Visited Cities in The World' list.

We also made it to the list of '50 Most Instagrammable Places in The World' at number 17.

We guess Malaysia is not too shabby in the eyes of the world, especially when it comes to travel-related stuff. Time to use that sexy accent of yours the next time you visit another country!
