STEAMED LALA (CLAMS) WITH RICE WINE

INGREDIENTS:
Sesame Oil
Red Chili x 1 (sliced)
Ginger (10 slices)
Salt
Clams (600g)
Rice Wine
Spring Onions (as garnish)
METHOD:
- Add some sesame oil to a preheated pan
- Throw in the sliced red chillies and ginger and a pinch of salt
- Sautee the ingredients until fragrant
- Add in the clams and some water (just a little, about 4 tablespoons) then stir
- Cover the pot and let the clams simmer and open up
- Add a splash of rice wine and let it cook for 20 more seconds
- Garnish with some chopped spring onions
