2020 has been a pretty decent year when it comes to smartphones.
We have seen a wide variety of smartphones being released this year, from good budget phones to great flagship devices.
The good news is, the highly-anticipated Samsung devices have just been launched, and they are now ready for pre-order.
The Samsung Galaxy Note20 and the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra were officially launched at Sentul Depot, Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday (18 August).
“The Galaxy Note20 finally becoming official in Malaysia is an especially memorable event for all of us at Samsung. Every detail of the Galaxy Note20 was meticulously thought through, all with the aim to allow people to bring every crucial part of their lives, be it work or play, onto one single device.
"So, with all that’s happening this year in 2020 and us adapting to a new normal, we are absolutely thrilled to release the Galaxy Note20 to Malaysians to redefine the meaning and purpose of the smartphone in this day and age” said Yoonsoo Kim, President of Samsung Malaysia Electronics.
According to Samsung, the Note20 and Note20 Ultra are positioned as "the master of all" devices, and it's clear to see why.

The S Pen is mightier than the sword

The biggest highlight from the new Galaxy Note devices is the new and improved S Pen.
The S Pen now gives users a more lifelike and fluid S Pen-to-screen writing feel, thanks to a latency of as low as 9ms.
The new S Pen also comes with new air gestures, so you can get more done by just waving it like a wand ala Harry Potter.
The S Pen really shines when it's combined with the enhanced Samsung Notes as it is now arguably even more seamless. For one, the enhanced Notes app automatically syncs with other Galaxy tablets or Windows PCs, which means that you will never need to worry about leaving your notes at home again.
Samsung said the new Galaxy Note20 and the Galaxy Note20 Ultra are capable of replacing your work laptop, and with the help of the new S Pen, they just might.

Game on

All work and no play makes Mr Kim a dull boy, so Samsung has made the Galaxy Note20 and the Galaxy Note20 Ultra a pretty mean play machine.
The Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 Ultra boast a 6.7-inch and 6.9-inch Infinity-O Display respectively, with a a 120Hz refresh rate, making your mobile gaming experience as smooth as butter.
The new devices also boast a newly renovated intelligent Samsung Exynos 990 processor and an upgraded cooling system, making it a mean mobile gaming monster.

Other cool features

As the Galaxy Note series is known as Samsung's 'big brother' smartphones, you can expect top notch features with this year's offerings as well.
Both devices feature a triple rear camera set up, highlighted by a 64MP shooter on the Galaxy Note20 and a 108MP main camera on the Galaxy Note20 Ultra.
You can also find a mighty 4,300 mAh and 4,500 mAh battery in the Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 Ultra respectively, with a super fast charging feature.
Oh, did we mention that Samsung also introduced a new colour to their Galaxy Note line?
It is called 'Mystic Bronze', and it's actually pretty nice-looking in real life.
The Samsung Galaxy Note20 is priced at RM3,899 and the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra has a price tag of RM5,199.
You can now pre-order them on Samsung's official website and when you do, you'll also bring home some extra goodies such as a UV Sterilizer with Wireless Charger and a Wireless Charger Convertible.
